Kalynn Jaramillo

Kalynn Jaramillo is a case manager for the Developmental Disabilities Waiver Medicaid program. She works with New Mexicans with developmental disabilities to ensure they get the care they need by advocating for them, supporting their personal goals and visions, connecting them with community resources, and managing their waiver and Medicaid based services. Kalynn has a bachelor’s in psychology from the University of Oregon. While perusing her bachelor’s she volunteered with the University of Oregon’s TeachOUT, an organization dedicated to educating teachers about the social and educational issues related to gender and sexuality inequality in schools. While at TeachOUT, she ran a successful fundraising effort to organize a prom for LGBTQIA+ youth. Kalynn was born and raised in Albuquerque, and after a quick detour for college she now lives with her partner and their three dogs, Hugo, Pancho, and Sopapilla.
