Jason Anderson

Jason Anderson is CEO of Wet Paws Mobile Pet Grooming. He launched Wet Paws in July 2022
and currently has five custom grooming vans running seven days a week and employs a team of
ten. Dog walking, pet taxi, and other non-grooming services and pet supplements are also offered. (wetpaws.pet)

Jason was Chief Member Experience Officer (CXO) at Albuquerque-based Nusenda Credit Union
where he was responsible for the Retail Branch Network, Investment Services, and Facility &
Construction Management. (2020-2022) Prior to Nusenda, he was Senior Vice President (SVP)
and Channel Development Group Manager at San Francisco-based Bank of the West, now BMO.

In addition to being an entrepreneur and experienced executive, Jason is active in diversity and inclusion (DEI) work. He co-led DEI strategies at both Nusenda and Bank of the West and received a Diverse Business Leader Award in 2017 from Albuquerque Business First. In 2019, he was a co-keynote speaker at Oracle Corporation’s annual PRIDE employee resource group event. Wet Paws is a member of NM OUT and a Certified LGBT Business Enterprise® (Certified LGBTBE®) through the National LGBT Chamber of Commerce Supplier Diversity Initiative. Anderson holds an M.B.A. from the University of New Mexico and a B.B.A. from New Mexico
State University. He is also a graduate of the Consumer Bankers Association Executive Banking
School (formerly Graduate School of Retail Banking Management).

He is currently on the board of directors of Casa Q. He previously served on the boards of All
Faiths Children’s Advocacy Center, Alta Mira Specialized Family Services, and the NM Museum
of Natural History Foundation.
